Meet

Rachel

Rachel is a native Savannahian and local attorney. A graduate of Hancock Day School and Savannah Christian Prep, she attended Mercer University and then Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia, returning home to her beloved hometown to practice law in 2011. Eventually, she decided that she loved the practice of law so much that she wanted to teach others how to do it, and she has served for several years as the Dean of Students and Career Development at Savannah Law School.  Rachel is also a professor of wills, estates, and trusts at Savannah Law School and at South University.

Her significant experience in practicing and teaching estate planning law led her to rethink how attorneys provide estate planning services, and she decided she could change things for the better.  So, she started Nest: Estate Planning by L. Rachel Wilson in 2019.

Additionally, Rachel serves the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division (YLD) as an executive board member.  Her local volunteer work is concentrated on working with the Telfair Museums' William Jay Society, the United Way fundraising team, and the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia.
